Another Carrie comic to tide people over while I continue with trying to figure things out for myself.
I've had to draw this comic twice by now, to fix a certain problem. Among that, I tried something with the background but I noticed I made the lines far too thick, compared to the character and word balloons which should be thicker in comparison. Yes, it looks really weird, the colors need work between the characters and backgrounds, and I need to put in more thought when inking/coloring people so I don't get anymore floating bodies there. |

Now, onto my overly-critical feedback as usual... (quickly typed in the middle of the night with no effort at all to make it sound nice and fluffy, so it may be brief and harsh, but I think it would help you for me to to let you know what I think anyway):
The new background feels a bit too distracting now; there isn't too much of a clear distinction between the foreground and the background, and the angle of the floor does not seem to match the angle at which the characters are standing.
I would suggest making the "camera" more level with the ground so not so much of the panel is devoted to the floor behind the characters. And I highly advise blurring and washing out the colors of the BG; enough so that it creates an ambiance and a vague setting, but not too much that it cannot be easily differentiated from the main focus of the comic strip. This also allows you to skim through drawing the BG faster, because you don't have to add too many details if it's going to be blurred anyway.
Lastly, Calcia's head appears to be a tad smaller in the last panel, and why couldn't you fix the floating bodies issue with just some quick edit?
